Leads professional development workshops connecting with heritage language educators in the Chicago Uzbek community and advocating for less commonly taught languages (LCTLs).
Support faculty development
Consulted the faculty involved in online course design and high-impact curricular projects at the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning at Indiana University.
Empowering future educators
Taught the W200 “Using Technology in Education” course to pre-service teachers at the School of Education at Indiana University.
Pioneering online modules
Launched eight innovative language modules for the CenAsiaNet project, setting a new standard for online Uzbek language learning.
Developing the Uzbek language dictionary
Developed online dictionaries for the two Title VI-funded multimedia projects at the Center for Turkic and Iranian Lexicography and Dialectology at Indiana University.
Promoting the Uzbek language and culture
Taught introductory and intermediate-level Uzbek language courses during summers at Indiana University and UW-Madison. Consulted teachers in the immersive overseas program in Samarkand.
