Our commitment
Hikmat Learning Solutions (HLS) is committed to providing accessible and inclusive digital learning experiences for all users, including individuals with disabilities. We believe accessibility is essential to educational quality, equity, and ethical instructional practice.
HLS is actively working to improve the accessibility and usability of its website, learning platform, and course materials in alignment with recognized accessibility standards and evidence-based online learning practices.
Accessibility standards and guidelines
HLS strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) through its Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). In addition, our course design and review processes are informed by Quality Matters (QM) Higher Education Rubrics, particularly standards related to:
Learner support and navigation
Accessibility and usability of instructional materials
Alignment of learning objectives, activities, and assessments
Accessibility is considered an integral component of course quality, not a separate or optional feature.
Platform compatibility
The HLS website and learning environment are designed to be compatible with current versions of major web browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari, and with commonly used mobile devices. We aim to support the use of assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation where feasible.
Ongoing accessibility efforts
Accessibility at HLS is an ongoing process. Our efforts include:
Applying inclusive design principles in course development
Reviewing instructional materials for accessibility considerations
Using a combination of automated tools and manual review
Addressing identified accessibility barriers when reasonably achievable
As our platform and course offerings expand, we remain committed to continuous improvement in accessibility practices.
Third-party content and limitations
Some content or tools used by HLS may be provided by third-party vendors. While we encourage accessibility compliance among our partners, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of all third-party content. When accessibility limitations are identified, we seek reasonable alternatives or accommodations.
Feedback and accommodation requests
We welcome feedback regarding the accessibility of the HLS website and courses. If you encounter barriers or require reasonable accommodations, please contact us. HLS will make good-faith efforts to respond promptly and address concerns in accordance with applicable U.S. accessibility laws and regulations.
