Interdisciplinary course design: Global Lens on World News

This 8-week, learner-led, project-based course is designed for pre-service and in-service teachers who want to design interdisciplinary lesson plans and improve their English while exploring practical, participatory teaching approaches. In this course, participants will explore global issues from a social justice perspective and consider diverse perspectives through discussion, storytelling, and reflection, moving beyond passive consumption of news.
