TPRS research shows students need 50–70 repetitions of a word in context before it becomes automatic. Circling provides 6–10 repetitions per question cycle, so one full circle gives about 8 reps with minimal student anxiety. For Uzbek learners, the SOV→SVO word order shift makes repetition especially important.

Common patterns to address:
• Uzbek has no articles — circle "a book / the book" contrast explicitly
• "He/She" — Uzbek "u" covers both; circle gender pronouns heavily early on
• Present continuous vs. simple — Uzbek lacks this; use gestures for each
• Verb-final habit: students may say "Ali school goes" — model and circle correct SVO order every time

Choose 3 characters students know — classmates, Uzbek celebrities, or cartoon characters. Name them on the board with a quick sketch. Always establish Character A fully (complete circle) before introducing B. The "twist" in Character C is what drives laughter — essential for acquisition!

For classes of 30+: assign row teams (Row 1 vs Row 2 etc.). Use the Spin Challenge for one representative per team, but let the whole team whisper-coach. Award bonus points when every single team member can repeat the winning sentence. This keeps all students engaged even when only one is answering.
